It is integrated as a plugin to Internet Explorer as a Browser Helper Object, often without any obvious user interface, and will load for each instance of IE. The average file size is about 1.54 MB. The programs Dogpile Bundle Toolbar, Bucksbee Loyalty Plugin - 100815 and InboxDollars have been observed as installing specific variations of toolbar.dll. The library is loaded into Internet Explorer as a BHO (browser helper object).
What is toolbar.dll?
toolbar.dll is an Internet Explorer Toolbar for the FreeCause Toolbar. When loaded by IE, it will install a toolbar in the top of your Internet Explore web browser. By installing itself, the toolbar has full access to the a loaded web page's document object model (HTML content) and knowledge of the URL the user is currently viewing; it can also manipuate these depending on the intended function of the toolbar.
