The SmartLogon system detects the user's face and logs on without any intervention from the user. This system is designed to learn the variations of the user's facial features, and is capable of performing detection in different lighting conditions.

facemgr.exe executes as a process with the local user's privileges. It is installed with a couple of know programs including ASUS FaceLogon published by ASUS and ASUS FaceLogon published by ASUS. The file is digitally signed by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. which was issued by the VeriSign certificate authority (CA).
