Shell Execution Monitor allows for right clicking and scanning a file for malware in Windows Explorer. Microsoft Malware Protection is part of Microsoft Security Essentials suite of anti-virus products including Windows Defender and Microsoft Malware Protection. It intagrates with Microsoft Office 2007/2010 as an anti-virus plugin which is designed to scan downloaded files and document attachments for malware and takes actions if a virus or trojan is discovered.
