What is DriverUpdate.exe?
DriverUpdate is a software application designed to check the PC's currently installed drivers against a database of available drivers for a number of software and device hardware applications. If driver updates are available the software will automatically download them from the manufacturers web site and install them.
Overview
driverupdate.exe executes as a process with the local user's privileges. It is set to be run when the PC boots and the user logs into Windows (added to the Run registry key for the current user).
