Acer eLock Management controls the access to optical and floppy drives, removable storage devices and other interfaces to ensure that data remains safe when the computer is unattended. Acer eLock Management can also be used to prevent usage of drives, devices and interfaces on computers that are for public use, such as those in an open environment. Use of Acer eLock Management requires system administrator privileges or else an error message will be displayed and Acer eLock Management will exit.
