HP DVDSmart Resident Program enables the playback of DVD and Blu-Ray media.

hpdvdsmart.exe configures an autoplay handler withing explorer.exe named HPMSDVDPlayDVDMovieOnArrival that will launch the program automatically. It is installed with a couple of know programs including HP MediaSmart DVD published by Hewlett-Packard and HP MediaSmart DVD published by CyberLink Corp.. The file is digitally signed by CyberLink which was issued by the VeriSign certificate authority (CA).
